Your Chamber's leadership comes from a Board of Directors, elected by the membership. The Board meets on the second Thursday of each month, at 7:00am. Objectives of the Board shall be in accordance with the purpose, as stated in the
by-laws, and the Board shall set the policy and direction for the Chamber.

The Executive Committee is comprised of the officers of the Board of Directors, and meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 11:30am at the Chamber office.  All officers are directly accountable to the Board of Directors. Objectives of the officers shall be in accordance with the purpose, as stated in the by-laws, and the responsibility of seeing that the organization runs properly and remains financially sound.

HOW WE HELP GROW, PROSPER & GIVE

The majority of the efforts required to promote, educate and advocate for our members comes from committees. Serving on a voluntary basis, these local business members are the driving force supported closely by the tireless efforts of our executive director, Linda Sanchez, that make the Chamber events possible.

Each December your board of directors meet for a 4 hour planning retreat to review and revise the Chambers strategic plan. It is this meeting that establishes next years goals. The success of these goals is directly proportional to amount of time donated by our members. If you would like to help make a difference in the Delta business community, we encourage you to join one or more of our action committees. Check the events calendar for the next meeting.

Linda Sanchez is the Executive Director for the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce. She serves as chief executive and administrative officer of the Chamber and oversees all the functions of the office and the organization. While the majority of the functions of the chamber are carried out by the volunteer base, Linda serves as coordinator, advisor, and member advocate.
